Which one of the guys in the last picture was Monty? Is the guy leaning over the right fender?

Was Super Street a 10.90 class back then?

I remember racing in Super Street in Division 7 in 1984, I don't think NHRA had it as a class the year before confused shruggy


Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

Im pretty sure it was NMCA super street. Heads up 10" tire, early day. I mart be mistaken though.

It was a 10” tire deal, and most cars were low 9’s, mid/high 8’s until Glidden showed-up and clicked off the first 7.90……rest is history.
