It seems that 69-70 super bee dash switches are different in construction. The 69 have plastic chromed knobs and the 70 are metal. My 70 switches have corrosion on the knobs and I would like to use the 69 switches. Is it possible to use the 69 switch in place of the 70 switch?

Yes...You can use the 68-70 switches interchangeably. You should find that the wiper switch knob is the only one that is cast metal and chrome on all 3 years. The others are plastic with chrome.
