I guess Bud Light isn't really beer after all, it's made with rice.

Regular buttwiper is made with rice too. So is Sapporo, but it's Japanese beer so it might make sense there.

Sapporo has really neat cans or at least they used to. They are fluted.

Trick question:

Which crop produces the most alcohol: corn, rye, barley, or grapes?

Answer: none of the 4

Sorghum
is the crop that produces the most alcohol
due to Baijiu whisky in China
and Sorghum Beer in Africa

beer truck crashed on the interstate bridge just above my house, spilling cans into the creek.
police wouldn't let anyone up the road after a constant stream of cars and pickups arrived to "help" with the cleanup.
beer cans were floating down the creek for a couple of days after. biggrin

When I taught Scuba diving we learned that beer floats and cola sinks.

IIRC Diet may float but nobody drank it except one person.

If you are in a deep water lake bag your 12 pack with a weight and drop it down to about 100 ft to chill it. Water is usually ice cold at that dept even in the summer.

Bush NA surprisingly reappeared on Walmart shelves.

I wonder what interrupted production or shipping?

After reading about how Fructose has special effects on the human brain and intestine:

sample quote

According to Taylor, the observations in mice make sense from an evolutionary perspective. "In mammals, especially hibernating mammals in temperate climates, you have fructose being very available in the fall months when the fruit is ripe," he said. "Eating a lot of fructose may help these animals to absorb and convert more nutrients to fat, which they need to get through the winter."

Dr. Goncalves added that humans did not evolve to eat what they eat now. "Fructose is nearly ubiquitous in modern diets, whether it comes from high-fructose corn syrup, table sugar, or from natural foods like fruit," he said. "Fructose itself is not harmful. It's a problem of overconsumption. Our bodies were not designed to eat as much of it as we do."

end quote

I have begun to wonder about Maltose,
the main sugar in beer,
which is two Glucoses bonded together.

When you eat starch or maltose you get somewhat slowly released Glucose.

Another thing that has me pondering is the recent trend in long distance runners who have switched to drinking NA Beer during races, rather than Gatorade-like sports drinks.
