Hell, I don't have even close to $30K in the entire car. Doug How much can you build a 1000hp on pump 93 engine using new parts for? Exactly this. Considering the complete fuel injection system is included, it's a steal. Just in the last 5 years I've seen basic parts like cranks, rods and heads increase cost by 10-15%, and the aftermarket block cost is well, well beyond that. Even doing the work yourself, if you're buying new it's hard not to have less than that in a legit, reliable 1000 hp engine without a power adder. I used to think 1000 hp was useless until the advent of all of the no prep style races. People get cars with 1500+ down surfaces as bad as regular streets with no issue these days, and the modern EFI technology is one of the reasons it is possible.

Look at what guys are running on an 8.5" or a 235 tire.

Wonder how many miles ur supposed to get out of springs/lifters with .787 lift... Springs have come a long ways so I bet they last a long time. I don't have that much lift but I run around .650 at the valve and had a set of comp endurance springs that I used for 3 drag weeks and 5 years worth of occasional racing and driving. No issues with them and the car ran a new best ET right before I took them out and went to a different cam and springs that slowed the car down.

If Mopar sold something similar, people would complain it was painted the wrong shade of orange.
