Is that Challenger spitting coolant or oil during the wheel stand? I hope his tires didnt hit any of that on the way down!!

Probably water off the intake manifold that he didn't clean up enough, dang them water shedding Heniroid motors anyways

Great seeing the pictures from Englishtown and the Mopar Atlantic Nats!!! I attended all 32 of them except maybe one or two due to rain . Cool picture of the Maroon Dart Sport stocker. My close friend purchased the red 57 Vette in the other lane 5 years ago , the previous owner raced it for over 40 years for most of that time with a stick in it , now with a power glide and still being raced.

I'm glad someone out there has something to say about these photos.

I attended the very first event in 1985 (or was in 1984?) when it was a small event and dubbed Mopars at Englishtown all the way up to 1996 event. I've got plenty more photos I'll post in the days and weeks to come.

I'm glad this Corvette is still around. I'm a longtime diehard 4-speed man and this 'vette was one of very few bracket cars with a stick in it so naturally it attracted my attention. I believe it was a Junior Stocker way back in the late 1960s to 1971 era.

Here's George's other car, a 1969 1/2 440 Six Barrel 4-speed Road Runner that he bought brand new in 1969. George told me he paid the car off after a few weeks of street racing it in the New York city area.

Thanks … the Vette today, still running the hi compression 302 Chevy motor , power glide and 5.13 gears he bought it with , just started gathering parts to build a 383 pump gas motor for it

I think I was at the 98 Englishtown event with my car. If you have a yellow 68 dart with primer spots and a big pro stock hood scoop or no hood and tunnel ram, that's me! (I probably didn't make the grade but ya gotta ask)
