Who is promoting it?

I can't make it out on the poster.

Thanks!

May 25-28 is the return of Big Money racing to the Texas Motorplex!

The Spring Stampede powered by The Hose Connection promises to be one of the most racer friendly experiences to ever hit the DFW are surrounding areas. Weither that be through payout structure, racer first decision making, or our TWO Racer Appreciation Parties you’re guaranteed to have a good time on or off the track.

All of this starts Thursday Night with the Airdraulics Racers Party and Practice Tree Race! We will start parking at noon and the festivities will kick off at 7pm. We will have free beer for all the attendees while we rip some thumbs for $1000 guaranteed!

Friday gets started at 10am where everyone will receive 1 Time Run per entry before we move into our $5k Warm Up Race!

Saturday will start with a New Entry Time Run at 9am. That will be followed by an old favorite of mine Dial-In For Dollars before we get into action for $20,000!

Saturday Night the lights will be on bright as we move into the Lynn Gleghorn Memorial 1/4 Mile Shootout! THATS RIGHT WERE RACING 1320’ for $10,000! I am beyond excited to bring quarter mile bracket racing back to Texas and to do it in memory of my PawPaw. We will also have our RLR Automotive and Diesel Service 1/4 Mile Racer’s Party! We will have plenty of beer iced down under the 1/4 Mile grandstands for everyone to enjoy the long track action!

We will wrap up Sunday with our final $20k Main Event after a New Entry Time Run.

For our Bottom Bulb racers we haven’t forgot you! You will be racing for the same purse as our Top Bulb racers with a $500 bonus on Friday and a $2000 bonus on Saturday and Sunday! You will also earn the same round money as the top bulb racers as well.

We will be running Jrs as well on Saturday and Sunday! They will get two shots at $500 and a big check on the weekend! We will also have a giant water slide for the kids (and adults) to enjoy as well!

We are also implementing some different run structures that we believe will be more racer friendly throughout the weekend. You will see our Run Order on the left side of the flyer. We will start out with our No Box racers then we will run All Door Cars followed by All Dragsters. We will then call for Double Entered Door Cars and wrap up with Double Entered Dragsters. We believe this will help our doubles get back around easier with less of a rush. This also helps insure our single entered racers won’t be racing someone who just went down the race track the first couple of rounds. Also if you read through the rules you will also see we will be pairing at the round of 8 cars or less. This will not be done on a ladder. We will be pulling chips for random pairings. Lane choice will still go to the racer with the better RT from the round before. Also if any racer is able to still have two entries remaining that round the WILL NOT be able to run themselves. We’ve either witnessed or have fell victim to losing an entry due to being paired with themselves on a ladder and we figured there had to be a better way. So if we do have someone in that position they will automatically receive the 1st and last pair chip. We will also be running a Re-Entry Round instead of a traditional buyback. For racers who may not haven’t been to a race with this if you unfortunately have to buyback you will have to race your way back in to 2nd round through the Re-Entry round. Winners of that round will advance back into Round 2.

Additionally for anyone attending the Dallas Double Divisional the weekend before you are more than welcome to stay through the week at the track.

Johnny, Madison and Myself are extremely excited to host what we feel is a great event at such a historic facility. On a personal level I’m overwhelmed with joy that I get to do this at what I’ve always considered my home track.

For those of you brave enough Lynn Gleghorn Memorial 1/4 Mile Shootout entries are now available!
