If you were simply using the drivetrain because you already have it, it would be great for an old truck or a 50's era car (full frame) that has lots of floor pan/trans tunnel room.
Anything else, the trans is a poor choice.

Anything else, the trans is a poor choice. It is not a matter of room, it is a matter of poor gear ratios, really wide spreads and clunky shifting. Not to mention is weights a ton.

It worked in a truck before so exactly why wouldn't it still work in a an older truck now????? No one said it was the best choice, it's a case of using what they already have and putting it to use. Why is that so hard to comprehend?????

Is it ideal, no and that has been stated but you're so busy trying to be a d*ck that you can't comprehend that people don't always do things the way that YOU think they should. It's just like most of your other posts, there's your way of doing things and no others should be considered or allowed. What put that giant chip on your shoulder???? Someone is trying to use what they already have, why is that so bad????????????? Not everyone builds high dollar perfect cars. Last thing I knew, that's what hot rodding was all about, build something and have fun doing it. I think that the fun went out of it for you a long time ago.

Is it ideal, no and that has been stated but you're so busy trying to be a d*ck that you can't comprehend that people don't always do things the way that YOU think they should. Right, comprehension issues for you, once again. All I did was lay put why the NP465 is a bad choice. It's just like most of your other posts, there's your way of doing things and no others should be considered or allowed. What put that giant chip on your shoulder???? A bad idea is a bad idea, only a fool encourages it and a friend points out the issues. Take from that what you will.

A friend??? Someone who acts like a d*ck in most of his posts isn't a actually friend to anyone. You just think that your opinion is more important than anyone elses. You're to blinded by yourself and your opinions to see that people can build cars with parts that aren't necessarily the best choice but are doing it because of cost or that they simply already have the parts. The OP was looking for a use for the drivetrain and everyone agrees that it's not the choice for a 60's and newer Mopar but it will work in a truck and could work but not be ideal in older stuff. Just because YOU think that you're right doesn't actually make it so. I ask again, What put that giant chip on your shoulder???? You should actually read and comprehend your posts with the eye and perspective of someone other than yourself. Take from that what you will. Are you sure you're not a BMW driver? They all seem to be d*cks all of the time.

Yikes
So... per the original question, I guess that's a 'no'. Nobody has seen or put one in a car. No. The 435 has a yoke on the tail end requiring a carrier bearing between the 2 driveshafts. Might be a trick in a car. He could use a 4wd truck driveshaft that has a slip yoke.

You obviously have serious reading comprehension problems. I NEVER said that he should do it. I said it was possible, but you're so much of a self center "I'm always right D*CK" that you see only what you want to see. A d*ck that has problems with reading comprehension describes you perfectly. I ask again, What put that giant chip on your shoulder???? I don't expect that you'll answer that, especially since you think that the problem is always with everyone else. Maybe you should do some self reflection, but I don't see that happening either.
