Hey. Thanks for the many replies but didnt check the last few days. I went with the stock 9.315 push rods cuz i figured my cam is pretty much stock, the lifter faces are exactly the same height, and its a pretty common cam and as far as i know most people keep their stock pushrods when they get a different cam. Ive got a 78 rv 440. But speedpro forged pistons, 346 heads off a challenger, and a binch ofother upgrades. My old pushrods are 2.95 or something but the only ones i could find that size took forever to ship. Not sure if the heads are milled but the block isnt

Easy way to figure out if your heads are milled is the measure the thickness of the head at the head bolt holes under the exhaust ports, they should be 1.000 plus or minus very little on and uncut head.

Your stock length should be fine, but not optimal . If you were to take an adjustable pushrod and put it in very location you'll come up with multiple different lengths. For this reason on a hyd. cammed engine I now spend the extra money on a set of adjustable pushrods and adjust every valve to the same amount of preload , overkill yes.

running up my post count some more .
