I've not really been a fan of my hotchkis springs on my e-body, sits really low, anyone ever use one of the front adjustable hangers to get just alittle higher, before buying new stock or even higher springs, I have only 10-20 miles on them the last 2 years ( I never get to enjoy it). but I feel like it wants to bottom out constantly. I realize its " corrected geometry"and all but before dropping 400 bucks on new springs any thoughts on how to salvage this experience. Thanks

how about adding a leaf or two from another spring pack ?
you would only need a new center bolt and possibly new u-bolts if yours are too short to add a leaf or two.
if you still have your old springs, you could use them for the extra leafs.

I thought the LOWER hole in the 2 hole front hangers was in the stock location. Moving the spring eye to the upper hole will give you 3/4" drop. I don't see how that's going to help you at all.

Please post pics of the car on level ground, both sides
Tire size?
Shock type?
What is the ride height distance measured at the wheel center to the bottom edge of the wheel opening? all 4
The oem front spring hanger may have a different offset than the hotchkis one,can you verify that?

my tires are 255 60 R15, hotchkis shocks that I bought with the hotchkis springs - I've seen pictures of adjustable spring perches that actually force the fronts down but the people who have them have had them 30+ years and I can't seem to find a source of new ones

Hotchkis springs are for cornering/handling, so they'll have the car sitting lower than OEM.
What you need for what you're doing is a set of springs with more arch.
(Or more room in your wheelhousings, or a smaller wheel/tire combo...all more $$$)

I might know a thing or 2 about setting up a car’s suspension for good street manners and road course flogging from over 22+ yrs of hot laps and ten of thousands miles of driving. You have to look at the sum of the parts and how they fit & function on the particular car. Just like the tire and wheel size threads…oye…too much tire/big wheels and never enough suspension/car for the too much tire/too big wheels but it looks good…

I asked for the specific information to see where the setup is at the moment. You can’t just slap on parts and expect good results. It’s the sum of the parts & there are geometry factors that affect the outcome. I may even understand the role of the tire diameter, front spring eye position vs ride height, roll ctr, suspension travel distance etc…that is why I asked.

well maybe I should try putting a stock front spring hanger in place its 1" lower hole than the one that comes with Hotchkis Springs then drive around, see how it feels, then if I still don't like it, get some ESPO springs, thanks
