On a 70challenger were the se cars the only ones with carpet on the lower part of the door panel? Was it included in some other option? Did the deluxe seat belts get it. Thanks Guys.

I have several doors with the carpet on the bottom but not the SE script on the upper panel.

I could be wrong but I think it was available without the SE package.

the ones I remember in my collection are Green with Green carpet. Not like somebody just had to have green interior panels with carpet so they added it on Day 2. lol.

I think cars with leather seats got the carpeted door panels.

non-SE Challengers - JH23/27 & JS23/27 with the OPTIONAL "leather" or "cloth & vinyl" interiors received the carpeted lower door panels

Rear seat ashtrays were also included with the 1970 Challenger H5 & HR interiors.

So the best I can tell you could not get leather or cloth and vinyl seats in a white interior r/t car. So if the white door panels have black carpet at the bottom that doesn't make sense. Any thoughts?
