I'm wanting to buy a rear valance for my 70 Cuda without exhaust tip cut-outs - like an AAR Cuda came with.

AMD has two different part numbers for what appears to be the same panel, one listed for 1970 (#960-1570) which doesn't seem to show up on their website any longer... and the other listed for 1973-74 (#960-1573) which is available. Both of these panels appear the same, but are they?

Other manufactures claim their part fits 70-74.

Anything I should be aware of? Would the 960-1573 fit a 1970 Cuda?

Thanks,
Dan

The '70 cars had 2 separate vertical support braces while the later ones had them built into the valance. The later valance should be okay on the '70.

Master, again and still

Best way to tell on a visual is the 1970 ends cutout, top picture is 1970
A lot more meat left and neatly done in my opinion.
Later 1971-74 with a lot more cutout.
AMD hasn't got it right just yet..

Here's 2 of my Barracuda rear valances. The top one in each picture is the original one that was on my car (1970) when bought in 1979. The bottom one in each picture is what it was replaced with.

Thank you EW1BH27

I ordered an AMD 73/74 unit, I think it will work.
