What´s the difference between 66-7 vs. 68-9 Hemi K-member?

The idler arm is different on the two k frames. The 66-67 uses a idler arm that has a stud end that attaches it to the k frame and not the bolt through design of later years.

isn't there a MOOG "fix" for that ?
would that not be considered on a factory restoration ? shruggy

Did all year Hemi K-frames have the front center "skid" plate added?

Yes, but the '66-'69 is one style and the '70-'71 is a different style. At least on the ones I've seen.
