I made two pies, one pumpkin and one apple, apple is still baking! I will also be making a coffee cake for breakfast tomorrow morning. Then the wife and daughter takes over for the rest!

Bologna and cheese sandwiches. I can be thankful for whatever is on the table as long as it's not green bean casserole!

.........as long as it's not green bean casserole! ^^^^^^^^ . ^^^^^^^ We're not turkey lovers, so tomorrow will be roast beef with collard greens, sweet taters and whatever else my wife decides she wants to cook. I'll be a little bit shocked if some sort of regular potato isn't worked into the menu somehow.... She bought one of those "Edward's" chocolate pies for desert. Happy Thanksgiving, y'all!!!!

I put a turkey on the smoker at 6:30 this morning, hope it turns out good. It's the first one I've ever smoked. Me too!!! Good luck with your bird! Got a spare in the oven just in case. My wife's favorite holiday so she's been cooking for 2 days. Both my girls will be here so all is good!

lovely wife and i are the only family here, and it's been that way for many, many years. we are very thankful for each other, and how our lives turned out. no need for 57 servings of different things for us. just going to be a roasted chicken with stuffing from the local grocery store. Happy Thanksgiving all !

We did our turkey in the crock pot this year, worked very well. Made homemade mashed potatoes (peeled the potatoes myself, as always) Wife made her pumpkin pie, and we had sides like green beans and corn.
Relatively small this year, with just our immediate family, which now includes my Granddaughter, Scarlett, born 11/20/22!
