Looking at the SDS, i don't see anything special. just petroleum distillates and various propellants.

I tried CorrosionX on stainless steel bolts in aluminum rods, some years ago.
These were the set screws on “Locking Bars” of Hurricane Shutters right next to Ocean surf.
I was not impressed after watching for a few weeks, as white powdery corrosion appeared quickly.

CorrosionX seems to have created at least ten times as many special formulas since my test.

I use corrosion free, its a stickier fluid film, doesnt wash off as easy, doesnt drip at all and has no rancid stench like fluid film either. Just had my 4x4 done with it, last time I had it done it was still there 18 months later.
