What is the gear in your trans and the rear gear??

Also when you make a tube or "normal" front end and get rid of all that transverse T bars, Go a little heavy on the front springs to calm down all that stored energy and pitch rotation. Also when taking weight off the front , IF you can, slide the engine forward an inch or so, youll be amazed at what it does for the bias without adding weight to the car.
Good luck, you have a TON of potential in this combo up

Theres part of your problem, get rid of the 1.80
probably need 1.49 or 1.58 depend on what trans you have.

Been a few busy weeks. Ended up nipping a headgasket and damaging the head. Decided to pull the engine as it’s been 3 years. Bearings and everything look so good I’d reuse them if I didn’t already have new. Got a new head from the dealer and everything is going back together this weekend. Some valve springs were a little low 100lb on the seat should be around 150lb so I’m sure there’s some power to be had there. Did manage to go 5.17 at 118 on the pass with the expired headgasket, I’d like to think it was a 5.0-4.9 pass but I don’t want to dwell on that. Sent the injectors off to be flowed and they were a touch dirty and the particular cylinder was 7% off from the rest leading to head gasket issue.

Once the engine is back together this weekend the foxbody front suspension stuff will be going down.

Looking at how your chambers are cleaner near one plug it makes me wonder if there would be any benefit to lighting up the other 8 plugs?

That thing is moving!

There is talk around 30-40hp gain from both plugs. That’s another change I’m going to make this winter.

Stock 5.7 truck manifolds

7675 cheap precisions, I had a single before but the packaging of twins makes it so much better imo.

I have seen this car run there is a lot left in it it seems to be a hand full at times it will start lifting the wheels down track when he soft on launch.when I have seen it was test and tune the don't do a lot to the track he does a good job useing his head to stay out of to much trouble when it makes a good pass its a bear but I don't think I ever seen him make a pass that the car is capable of but it's fun to watch

Stock 5.7 truck manifolds

Those match the exh ports of the BGE 6.4 heads?

I know the intakes match the flow of 426 hemi heads

Yes all 09+ heads have the same exhaust port shape.

I think I’ve decided to give it one more go with the transverse torsion bars. By my math doing foxbody front suspension, im dropping 200lb which will put me around 48% on the nose which won’t help with power wheelies. As much as I’d like to do it I think it will hurt unless I take more weight out of the rear to counteract it(which is tough)

We will see though. I may get bored in the garage and just cut it off. I think it will still go a 4 with the torsion bars:

I know those wheelies can be hard to tame.

No crazy winter upgrades, swapped some custom valved afco bgx rear shocks on, and switched to the new holley smart coils for the hemi to fire both plugs. Hopefully get to the track next month, picked up another project, and I’d rather have it done first. may start another thread specifically for it. It’s getting a stock 5.7 and a 727, and holley efi, and I’m going to try and go 9s with it for as cheap as possible, hopefully under $7500 or so.
