When mufflers rattle, they are defective.

Doesn't look like it flows very will, There are better options in chambered mufflers.

Sounds like a flowmaster muffler. I never liked the sound. Sounds like exhaust going thru a trash can.

they also look like a flowmaster with the V shaped divider.
now just for grins, has anyone took a holesaw the exact size as the internal pipe size, and cut a hole in the V, making the muffler a straight through design ?
if so, other than making more noise, did it make any difference ?

Mufflers panic

Even if I narrow it down to near-stock 383 Road Runners - slight differences in cam & CR but all street cars with manifolds & full stock tailpipes:
I've had Dynomax Super Turbos on 2 of them - one quiet and 1 crisp & louder. The quieter car has less CR (9.5:1)
Accurate Exhaust "stock reproduction" on one with blueprinted, 10.0:1 & slightly cammy engine - also crisp, sounds great
Cheapo Hooker "turbo" on a dead-stock car, sounded original.
None of the above are tinny.
Tried 3 different mufflers on another car before I got what I wanted - my muffler guy still jokes about that episode...
