The fake tag for BS23J0B282286 with color change & added options on it has been known of for quite a while.

The guy was actually upset when a guy reported & showed a third broadcast sheet for it that he had found in his own car on another forum.

So the GREEN tag is fake too? As is all those broadcast sheet he's showing?

I don't think the white tag is a bad thing per se- I have thought about doing that while day dreaming of various cars I'd like to build. Problem is it depends on the Owner having integrity. If I owned that car, the white tag wouldn't be sold with it. My "fantasy tag" would likely have the bottom line read BS23JOB OPTIONS ADDED or BS23JOB MY WAY.

Commenting on the listing only. If the seller is not vin tampering and is being upfront and including the proper tag and paperwork hes miles ahead of most in the mopar world imo.

Well, I can say that I don’t think a car with all those modifications from it’s original condition, warrants that kind of premium price. I don’t like the interior for sure. Looks like socks on a rooster! Most people are not a fan of white or green. Lots of AAR’s have survived. They are nice cars with the perfect graphics, imo. I own a tor red one and a f4 green one as well, both with original paint. Now the paint on the green one does not still look as good as N͏ew͏. My orange car looks very decent. I just judged a car show and one of the cars I judged was a freshly restored f4 green car, it was stunning. You don’t see that many of them restored. It was a rare color

The car was local to me when the color change and mods were done. I'd say it was around mid 1990's. The guy had the car for some time and decided that he just wanted it that way. It was a really clean car and at the time I couldn't believe he was doing the color change. The tag with FF4 is the original

Despite the made up tag / color change / tranny change / interior change, I still like the car.
I don't 125K like it though.

But it does have the original fender tag, 3 original broadcasts sheets, comes with the original transmission, and has the number's matching T/A block installed in it.
So what's it worth, if you wanted to change out interior, and transmission, and repaint car ?
As much as I would want it the original color, not sure I would go through that expense, which IMO hurts the value .

Color change kills the value. Mopar guys just don't like color changes on original cars.

Agreed. I have had my share of color changed Mopars and prefer original color even if it is not a popular one.
What hurts even more is that is was changed from one unpopular color to another. Lot of folks don't like white, preferring a high impact Mopar color.
I was one of those people, but saw an AAR in person in white and liked it - the contrasting white against all that black works well IMO.

So i guess this guys targeted market will be a non-mopar kinda guy, probably best anyhow, the other brand guys are more forgiving when it comes to all the whats correct and whats not stuff.

All you guys that cant tell the difference in a factory fender tag and a repop tag you should look at this guys craigslist ad, he has the 2 tags side by side so you can have a look see . thats way more info than you will get from anybody here in identifying the difference. just a heads up.

I don’t see why anybody would fool with putting a fake tag in their car, unless as a joke and a way to poke people that are over the top about such things. There’s a place for original cars and a place for modified. Blending the two seems absurd. Putting a line on a fake tag to make it a joke has been an idea of mine for awhile, I’d certainly never buy one made to try and appear as factory though.

I’m not sure if the green or the white is a less popular color. That’s a race to the bottom right there.
