I understand the backorder issues as of "today", but can anyone shed any light as to why TTI are 2-3 month backordered on headers? Is it plating, no materials, or lack of help, or all of the above?

Did you call and ask them?

I ordered from Mancinni, all they tell me is they are still a month out.. Its OK in my situation, Im just curious as to why they are so far out. I ordered 3 set of headers, and 2 exhaust systems back in 18 and they came within weeks....

I ordered small block shorty headers and e-body pipes this past spring.
Delivery was about 5 weeks to my local dealer.

The Doug Thorley headers are near the same as TTI. Unless your needing a specialty header from TTI- have you looked into Thorley?

I had my TTI's recoated for the 2nd time and sold them at Carlisle. IF I put headers back on my car they'd be stainless. Twice as much but never have to come off ever again. And after coating them twice I had that much into the TTI's.

Not blaming TTI. Steel rusts eventually and coating needs to be redone. $450 easch time.

$1800 for headers is a bit out of my budget. I'm not looking to shed a few et's off a street car, so I'll stick with TTI. I don't mind waiting as none of my junk is running at the moment.
