I’m in the process of restoring my grandads 74 model D100, the heater temp control cable froze up years ago and since then the only way to control cabin temp was to open the hood and adjust the temp control valve by hand. I’ve bounced around the web and the usual vendors and can’t seem to locate one…anybody got any leads as to who might have one??? Thanks in advance up

If you find out the length of your cable you might also be able to use a reproduction one for a B or E Body application. The other choice is if you have a lawnmower shop they might be able to make one as well.

couple guys on the Dodge FB group say take your old cable to a motorcycle shop and they can make you one to fit.

Will do, restoring this truck is turning into an adventure, a few years ago I found the old temp control cable Ty wrapped under the dash and was going to try and repair and reinstall it, couldn’t find the hole in the firewall where t was supposed to pass through and I ended up giving up…now that I have all the sheet metal off the front of the truck I figured out why (lol) somewhere in this trucks past somebody ran the antenna cable through the temp control cable hole instead of the hole designed for the antenna cable that is behind the passenger door jamb… work
Meanwhile, I’m taking everyone’s suggestions to thought on fixing the temp control issue while I wait on engine parts up
