I like those old bumpers with the dealer name etched in...first one I've seen in awhile.
These seem to be a southern thing. I'd never seen one in Michigan but when I went to school in Tennessee in '83 they were common.
They were on most of the trucks here. The dealers ordered them "bumper delete" unless it was a highly optioned truck. The trucks that were purchased for work, farming, etc.got a dealer installed step bumper with the dealer name etched in. When I bought my 1979 the etched in name was replaced with a spray-painted stencil dealer name.
