Put your shut off by the shifter . And put a gauge there also . Then you can monitor pressure without it on the solenoid . Also good idea to open the valve just after the burnout , then shut it and purge after the stripe . This helps plunger life .

Yeah, I've seen that kind of setup before and know about the advantages, but have been struggling with whether I want that right next to the seat in my street car. The rest of everything is hidden (other than timing controller and it's mounted with velcro) in the interior.

Heat shrink tube installed on the -6an nitrous feed line to help it blend in a little better!

It was 60° here so connected everything to check for leaks. Pressure switch connection was leaking so I fixed that real quick. Other than that everything was fine. I didn't heat up the bottle so pressure was way low but decided to do a couple of pulls on a 300 shot real quick like. Stabbing it in 3rd gear it hit harder than a stepdad on New Years Day! Going to be lots of fun!

While a 9.99 or better is the goal, this is the app I've used for years called Virtual Dyno to get an idea of what changes will do.
As simple as it is, it has been crazy accurate up to this point. It predicted a 10.40 and I ran a 10.40 that night off the trailer. After the 250 jetting install, it predicted 10.07 and it ran a 10.01 that night second pass off the trailer!
To keep the ball rolling, this is what it is predicting for the 300 shot. We'll see if it works out..

That is how I have both my kids plumbed also with two 1/4 ball valves and gauges as well.

It's been unseasonably warm the last couple of days so I took the opportunity to get out and fix a header collector that was missing a bolt and a few other small things.
One of the things I most enjoy about this car is the ability to get in and drive it anywhere. I drove it to work this morning on the interstate keeping pace with 70 mph traffic.
*edit* the pics make it look like there are dents in the roof. I had to go and look to be sure something hadn't happened! It's just something odd with the pic.

Trying to get ready for April 29th Mopars at Mo-Kan. It's been too cold the first couple of dates our local track was open.

We did Mopars at Mo-Kan Saturday after our test and tune at MAD was rained out Friday. First full hit on spray and it was upset, popping and banging all the way down. I got back to the pits and the #5 plug was nipped on the end. The rest were fine but had gotten a little too warm on the end. Time to step up to a couple of heat ranges colder plug. Something I planned on doing but kinda forgot about. It still ran a 10.50 on 7 cylinders.

WHAT plug is in it?
I would check the cranking compression on all cyclinders, and get in the habit of doing that every outing. Pull all the plugs, block the throttle open, (leave it open for the whole time, just cover with a rag in between tests). Record the first pump, and then what it gets after say 7 pumps. Keep this as a record, and compare every outing.
As i previously told you, this engine will most likely want MORE retard than you or anyone else would expect. Take 2* more out of it, if you have to put a colder plug in just that one hole also. Sawed off straps are TOO MUCH timing period !! Dont forget that
Also , at the first "mis" or "bang"....lift, its not going to "clear up" so dont put more misfires through the pipes than you have to

I swapped plugs for the colder, non projected tip NGK's.
I took it out of town for a couple of passes this evening. The bottle wasn't heated up and was about 75° or 800 psi. No need to be set on kill tonight. I rolled in to about 30 mph to keep from spinning and wow, smooth as glass! Two hits and virtually no issues. Looking forward to getting it to the track!

Man, you need to buy a lottery ticket!! 250+ on a NGK 6? That's really great news it didn't hurt anything else.
When's the next track day?

When's the next track day? Yeah, feelin' kinda sheepish about that. Lots of things going on and it's a detail that I missed. It was actually a 300 shot.. As for when I will get back to the track, not sure. The track that we used to go to about every Friday or Saturday night closed this year. The next closest track is an hour away.

Trying to get back to the track but we've had 3 sessions rained out so far in the middle of a statewide drought (go figure!).
The Midway Nostalgia Drags in Ark City are scheduled for this weekend but the forecast is not looking good.
