Farm out the blower motor rebuild and do the rest yourself with the gasket kit from the 71TA (DMT). You can have the part number stamps made, or buy them I think.
I have bought two used heater boxes online and both showed up damaged from shipping monkeys. Found one at a local parts hoarder guy's place and bought it in person. If yours is still ok . . . you should be able to clean it up and redo yourself . . . as said above, the gasket kit from DMT (71TA) is absolutely perfect ! I did my own on my Sport Satellite - AC car . . . cleaned up great, even the stamped part numbers were still there and very visible ! Good luck Mark

Yes.. maby thats the way to go.. i have a restored motor from Bill Meerholz to use..
But the plastic is no good . So need to fix that + all gaskets.

Nicklas That plastic is the key to restoring the box. The rest is easy the box itself cannot be repaired. You would have to repaint it black which is not correct.

If its a non AC box no one would risk shipping that. Undamaged, those are IMPOSSIBLE to find and if you do they are worth over $1500. I know Mike would never ship a box. Not even local.
AC boxes are a dime a dozen but are also easily damaged. IF shipping removre ALL the heavy parts and ship separate from the fragile plastic housing; evap, core and blower motor. Shipping it International, you have to have it crated at least. Then there's the costs to ship both ways? Can only imagine that. And then hope it doesn't get damaged on either trip overseas?

Nicklas Mike Ross (HEMICUDA) from BEA repaired one with plastic repair and duplicated the fiber appearance as well. The results of which were once documented on another site (the OP of that thread sadly deleted the thread and the info is lost).
