Borgeson recommendations: Maximum Pressure: 1450 PSI Maximum Operating Pressure, 1100-1250 Optimal Flow Rate: 2.0-2.5 GPM Flow Rate Recommended
FSM says the Saginaw pump is 950-1050psi and 2.1-2.6gpm. Doing the opposite of Ehrenberg's low buck firm feel Pump it Down, removing the one shim my valve has will boost the pressure. I've seen some pumps have a different orifice on the regulator fitting, and some people drill it out for more flow, but these pumps have been used by dozens of manufacturers for decades, so I don't know what Dodge used, or what should be used with a Borgeson box. Mine measures .128". Measuring pressure is easy enough, but what about volume? Is there an orifice size I should use, and just call it good?

I went through two different parts store pumps that had wildly different valving before finally just buying a new pump right from Borgeson. Of course, it had the correct valving. Cost me $175.

Not an unreasonable price for both a new and aggravation free choice. Wonder if AR Engineering has a bracket kit, lol.

Well, if it's aggravation free, it's not for me.
