Stacked was more common but there was single round headlight with that grille for 79 and 80.

Not incorrect. There's even a Lil Red Express or two that has single headlight option and not quad lights.

Yes, agree on the orange peel. A '79 is actually a "Warlock II" and should have a wood plaque attached to the wood side rails indicating same. Too bad, the tires say only Goodyear, should be Tracker A-T also.

So Moparts has reached the point where we compare die cast models to OEM trucks for accuracy too?

I remember a time when we would have been thrilled just to have a die cast model somewhat close to looking like it could have been a real life version.

Maybe you should give your kids these horrible toy trucks to play with. Then maybe as the kids grow up, more would have been interested in our Mopars.
