I sure don't claim to be an expert, but I would be OK with it.

It's been said that the VIN stamps were done with a pneumatic gun and the quality of the finished stamping depended on the operator i.e. if the operator didn't have a firm grip, the gun could rebound and produce a double or triple stamp.

It would be nice to see the block stamp without the thick paint coating to observe the machine mark where the pad was cut.
When I look at the trans marks I can't understand why the underlying "7" is to the left of the top stamp and the "8" seems to be to the right.
Does the curve of the vertical leg of the "7" also appear a different radius to anyone else. First digit on trans needs a close look.

Keep in mind that the U.A.W workers were not taught to be meticlics(SP?) workers and super precise on their work, production came first, not stamping quality shruggy
