I'm 61 and still feel like I did 20 years ago. I will say that getting up off the floor after being down for a while takes a few steps to get everything going. My wife and I just came home from vacation in the Smoky Mountains where we hiked over 25 miles. We did 18 miles in two days, hiking up to the lodge on Mt. LeConte on one day and down the next.

I'm a people watcher, the day before we came home, we went into Gatlinburg to shop for the grandkids. I usually sat on a bench while my wife shopped and can say we are becoming an obese society.

I am way past hikng in the mountains. I need that 20 years for $2000 - heck I would easily go $20,000. 20 years would get me back before I even knew my back was trashed.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Most my old age chit are my knees, did to many crazy things after 21 years in the army. However, lately I’ve been having problems with my sciatic nerve. Man, that thing hits its like getting hit with 110 and it will take you down.
