Really makes no sense to me, It's like saying this is Bill's forum page that is representing the truck section. Like everybody is supposed to know who Sandy is. No other forum gives members names to represent a specific forum. confused realcrazy

There are 6 forums on Moparts that have been named or have a sub forum named after fallen Moparts members... eyes

Thank you. I had noticed the name change but knew nothing in regards to when and why. He sounded like a good guy for sure.

Every fallen member here that has had a forum named after them is/was more than deserving of that honor. Trust me, it was VERY hard for me to delete Gary Davis and Stu Harmons phone numbers off of my contacts so I didn't fat finger them by mistake and upset a family member who may answer a still active phone. R.I.P. Sandy, you too will be missed here. angel

Well i'm on here just about everyday but i am a new member. No disrespect to fallen members but it still seems odd to me. Don't see this on any other forums.

I think it's a nice gesture for a popular member. Good thing there's a lot of sections.
I think it started with unlawful who was another very popular one. I remember seeing that accident on the news and knowing it was him when I heard his name.

Well for navigation purposes it would be nice. One thing it needs is to show what the post is about when you hover over a thread. This site doesn't do it where all the others do. You have to click on it to see what it is. Improvements could be made here. The "smiles" could use some improving also. One thing that is great here there is no advertising that clogs up all the posts. But wonder how long that will stay that way when some sites say they are going to a new "improved" format witch means nothing but advertising. It gives my add blocker a work out.

Turn off your Ad Blocker and see what happens.......... runaway

How is renaming a section after a fallen member any different than when a street or building gets named after someone? Or do you think that's silly too? shruggy

WOW!

A sub-forum has its name changed and look at the stress that's caused.

I wish that was my biggest concern in life.

This just proves the old saying, that no good deed goes unpunished.

Mike.

thanks for noticing, brother. they finally got rid of the damned sidebar/shoutbox/statistics/bullcrap that ate up a third of the screen. so, it was once again safe to return. hoping they don't do another "upgrade" that devolves the place another 10 years, again. fan

I hate that hover thing. A lot of the time it gets in the way. If you can't tell what a post is about by the title or it doesn't look interesting don't open it. Or spend the couple seconds and click. Don't need to see a preview.

The simplicity of moparts is what keeps it good.

That's what I was wondering. I don't really remember seeing him in here.
