Does the Transgo TF-2 shift kit get rid of the kickdown assembly or do I need to go with the TF-3? I realize the TF-3 is full manual.

tf-3- manual forward pattern.

i'm interested to hear from anyone that has installed the TF-3 kit.
how do you like the shifts ?
has anyone compared the TF-3 kit to a genuine forward pattern manual valve body ?

dad used them instead or a forward pattern vb. they were crazy expensive at that time. he did all the trans for our group of about 12 guys. he still does them for a few of the racers. but now mostly the guys he does trannys for use trans brakes. he said if he was going to do another one for manual shift, it would be a tf3. he just likes the ease and the was it shifts. he is old school but don't tell him i said that please.

never tried a tf-3 have always run the TF-2's. Did a Tf-1 once it was OK but preferred the TF-2
