Most of us have watched/Watch Cleetus McFarland video's. In yesterday's video he talks about how the 360 in the duster was destroyed (It is being replaced by a W2 engine which will be awesome)

He talked about the oil filter (jump to 8:40 ) and the "flap" which I'm guessing he's calling the anti-drainback valve and how it rolled over. Is this a risk? Can this happen to any of us?

I saw this last night but have yet to go back to the first video so I can see what filter they used , I'm pretty sure there is a shot of that side of the motor and it's easy to see the right angle adapter .

On a different note that car is destined to fail, there is no throttle valve linkage that I could see in the first video , don't know if it's there on the second but I have no idea if it's got a manual valve body or still the auto? then there is a question to me as to the trans in the car , it looked like a 904 in the one undercar shot I saw with the trans out of the car. If that motor is as bad as they think it is that trans is going to die a horrible death ...

Never heard of him until his name came up in a Finnegan video a few days ago. Name sounds like a ”Dukes of Hazzard" character.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

his name is actually Garrett....and Cleetus McFarland has always been his online avatar name since his start with 1320video, and it's fun. He has one of the fastest street cars in the country (I think Tom Bailey still holds the title) and is making the drag & drive events incredibly popular and great for the auto community. His online followers asked him to keep it mopar powered a few weeks back when he asked his viewers on what to do, and he did, so that's a huge win as he's a twin turbo LS everything kind guy.

just watched today's video of Corn Cobb ripping with the W2 in it....it's a ripper for sure, I just wish they'd thrown it on the dyno because I'm really curious as to the power it makes.

I've just never heard of this type of failure, shouldn't the oil pump bypass maintained pressure?

Looks like they've got a napa filter on the W2.... CRAZY to me that they cut the engine mount bosses off the old engine and welded them onto the side of the new one...where there's a will there's a way, it's just a burnout exhibition car anyway.

Tom Bailey does have the fastest car , McFarland first 6 slip for a drag and drive event was this year, Bailey has been in the 5's.

I just watched that episode, I have been looking at them and there hasn't been any TV linkage installed on the carb linkage. I hope they realize they need it if it doesn't have a full manual VB or at least tied it back to wide open underneath.

If they had more time that car would have definitely gotten an LS.

The term I have heard used by many is influencer .

Yes they actually get paid but they have to get to a certain level of subscribers and video views to do that ... I believe that is how it works.

You wouldn't be wrong in doing that, even with some of the LS stuff they've done ...

Thats not the end of the world though in the big picture.

They are car guys and followed by car guys and thats good. They are making a legal living off it which imo is 1000 times better then how some in society get by.

I actually enjoy some of his vids on the newer stuff. So my comment was not meant to be over critical.

Yeah their Mopar knowledge was a little cringe for sure lol.

He has figured out a way to play with all kinds of cars and make a crap ton of money doing so. He owns a 3/8 mile paved oval track called the "Freedom Factory" as well as that facility shown in the videos which I guess is almost next door.

He has the entire Bristol Speedway rented for an event this weekend. When you can rent that facility out to do burnouts and race old cop cars and make money doing it you have figured something out!

I love that show and fully support them, but knew that dodge motor was done for when chevy guys started working on it. If you look up 'corn cob' car, it has been around a few mopar magazines many, many years ago.

I subscribe to his channel and watch a lot of the videos also.

I stumbled on this whole youtube thing just within the last couple of years and I'd love to figure out how to make a living doing it something like that.
