Have any of you guys gone through the process of applying for disability or know of someone with an Achilles Tendon Disorder? ive lost my agility to walk and use stairs without looking like a fool. B.T.W. im only 58. Sorry to hear, that's awful. The only thing I now about applying for disability is a majority are turned down their first application, AND most need an attorney to be approved.

Well thats something i havent tried. This week im having some test done with a neurologist. Maybe they might find a loose screw or two I kinda think all the pain and atrophy in my calves is from overuse. 30 years of being a laborer with small weak calve muscles wearing steel toe boots. At one point in my life my Migraines were so bad I was out of Sick Leave and had to use Vacation Leave until I caught back up. My sister (without my knowing) checked with an attorney on disability (I wouldn't have done it) and he told her a person must be out of work for at least one year due to their disability.
