Could find anything in search.
Anybody know how/what readings would be for a bench test of a double prong (rectangular) ballast resistor?
Thx in adv!

Do you mean two prong or four?

All ballasts resistors are rectangular in shape.

If you mean 2 prongs, in total

http://www.moparts.org/Tech/Archive/elec/4.html

If you mean the 4 prongs, total

According to the 73 FSM

coil side 0.50-.\0.60 ohms
control side 4.75-5.75 phms.

What year did they change the coil side from .5 OHM to 1.2 OHM

Both are factory Mopar 387467 part numbers

One has the open back .5 OHM

One has the closed back 1.2 OHM
