Its defintely a problem. Not just steel rods either. Most aluminum rod Companies are in the same boat with long lead times if they will even give you one

I don't know if I got lucky, about 7 - 8 months for a set of custom GRP's to the door here in the UK. Initially they didn't even have the blanks to machine them from. Times are tough, I know so many racers who are waiting for parts over here. I think it will take quite a while before we get back to pre-covid lead times.

Anyone know where to buy a set of H-beam connecting rods for a 440? I've checked all of my sources and can't find any, and no firm date for availability. 6.76 H-beam, Mopar big end, .990 pin end w/ ARP2000 bolts. Prefer Molnar, but open to other options. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks, Brian We have some 6.76" Eagle rods in stock. We also have Scat 7100 and 6535 for stroker kits.

I had to go with Molnar power adder + rods, rated to 3000 hp to get what I needed. My luck that there were a few sets in stock with 7.00 c. To c. Length. A co-worker is building a BBC and did the same thing.
