On divided highway at 9:00 last nite, raining, pitch black with spray from car in left lane (I’m in right lane) going 55. Suddenly I see one little tiny taillight from a scooter goin maybe 30 dead in front of me, rider has no reflective clothing on. I whip the wheel hard to left into the left lane then then back as fast as I can seeing guard rail along edge of road, after a couple of sideways I’m straight again. Thank goodness for traction control on the SRT. I thought the person and my car were goners. What a dumb a$$ riding out there at that time. Thankfully I still have good reactions!

I had an idiotic ex employee that had to ride his bike to and from the closest Bus stop due to DUI's. When winter rolls around and it started getting dark at 5:30-6 he refused to put anything on the bike even if I paid for it. Also wouldn't wear reflective clothing again with me offering to pay for it. He's no longer here and fortunately nothing happened to him because of his millennial ? stupidity. Although part of the reason may be due to when it got colder my wife started taking him to the bus stop and eventually all the way home. And BTW, he screwed me over pretty good when he left frown But I've allways said "lessons paid for are best remembered" beer

Still think about different scenarios, dead wet person and scooter in front seats with the wife and I, car with guard rail sticking thru it and me, barrel role down highway and the worst, me or wife dead. I think of something else quick!

Glad you were able to avoid him! That rider would have been lucky if he made it to his destination in those conditions. What a dumba$$.

Couple days ago out by us, some young guy was on his crotch rocket out on a very main road going 100+, hit a car (what a surprise), & was turned to hamburger. Luckily the people in the car were OK. You ride like that, & you are a dead man riding.
