Remy-Z master Joined: May 2004 Posts: 4,174 here.	Got to roam around the Everett facility when I was interning at Boeing in 2012. The scale of the assembly lines is mind-bending...nothing like holding a meeting in an office while one-third of a 747 is passing by slowly on a crane. The 777 and 787 can handle the load, but the 747 is one of the very few aircraft the general public can spot from a mile away and know what it is. It's had a good run, and it will be missed.

We had a bunch of jumbo jet toys growing up and I hope to get a chance to fly in one again before they're gone.
