Can someone get me a measurement from a '69 Plymouth B-body hood please.

I need the measurement from the right side (standing in front of the hood) to the center of this hood latch bolt hole.

28" - I measured from the outside of the flange (easier to hook the tape measure) to the center of the bolt.
That's the driver side flange, which I think is what you meant by "right, facing the hood".

Its a "glass " hood so it has a flat flange all the way along the side. We get 27-1/2" to the center of that bolt and its not lining up with the latch.

So, 1/2" + the flange difference, that's off by 5/8" - 3/4".
Probably easier to modify the latch bar than correct the nutsert locations.
Relocating the latch in the upper grille panel toward the driver's side might create a lot of grief, but worth looking at.
I don't think using a '68 latch bar will work, as the fore/aft location differs, but maybe worth a look as well.
Only other alternative I can think of right now - maybe I need more coffee - is to use the secondary latch & hood pins.

I'm thinking I might just modify the bar or make a new one. I have a spare that I can sacrifice.

By the way, thanks for the info.

Bought the hood from a member here. Of course he didn't mention any problem nor was the hardware included. This is a VFN hood ... wonder if anyone else has the same issue

Some 'glass stuff is pretty far off, and you don't really know until you bolt it on.
I've seen the hinge bolt nutsert off by 1/2", and the whole hood being offset to the left by 3/8" because the halves were incorrectly positioned.
Some are bowed badly as well.

I think modifying or fabbing the bar is the most elegant solution.
