moparx "Butt Crack Bob" Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 19,342 north of coder	what kind of a problem ? a good coating of Loctite 567, which is my favorite sealant, will seal the fittings and prevent any galvanic corrosion if you are worried about that.

topside Too Many Posts Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 20,745 A collage of whims	I think aluminum would be too soft. Agree on using thread sealant. Haven't needed any heater hose fittings for a long time, but they're available from vendors. But if you use brass, it's invisible when the hoses are on.
