Didn't want to say much about it but it was a bad deal. Not sure TMZ is the place to announce it but its out there now. Happened Sunday AM while filming. Car was all over the road on the pass at the end he went off the road into through a ditch car started to roll and burst into flames. He was gone by the time they got to him. Word was without his helmet on, not sure how that would have happened. All I can wish is maybe he was gone before the fire took his life.I can say he uses barbell weights on the rear bars of the cage and they are slid in place. No matter a horrible way to go and the road they film on here is a terrible piece of road. Rumor is filming may be done and they may not show any of the Americas list small tire stuff. But just a rumor. RIP Ryan Fellows.......

Man, I hate that part, and hope he didn't suffer; I feel bad for the family & friends. It's inevitable that something tragic will happen street racing, especially on crappy surfaces if combined with "I can save it" no-lift thinking. Obviously I don't know the cause or particulars on this wreck, so it's not an accusation; but we've all seen guys who won't back out until the wreck.
I also wonder why there are parked cars at the big end, like in Tricia's wreck. As fast as these guys are going now, maybe it's time for barriers, or at least some way to reduce rollovers and impacts.
Did he run a kind of copper-gold 240SX with an LS in it ?

I follow a lot of the posts from the street outlaws on Facebook and from what I’ve read the cars parked at the finish line and other places are rental cars parked to prevent guys from hitting things more dangerous than parked cars.

I am under the impression that Discovery made sure that there are paramedics present at all of their shows that the cars are racing on. I'm wondering if they will start to have firefighters present from now on It is really too bad he got killed, may God have mercy on his soul: luck:

Heard they were filming an episode....Sure hope it wasn't done for ratings....Prayers sent... Give me a break. Do you honestly think they would purposely let someone die on a racing show for ratings.

Sad for the guy and his family, but its all wishy washy crap. I hope discovery has some sort of compensation clause in place for the unfortunate family.
Society glorifies many things that are against the law, discovery is great at exploiting that in many of there shows to make money at the (free will) expense of others greed and need for fame. In the end the racer has paid with his life and discovery moves on to the next cash cow.
This is not street racing, its the exploitation of street racing by discovery. Most street races are never filmed and the drivers use much more common sense.

Not out here in the dust bowl. Our group is pretty tight and nothing hits the phone or the web. Know of many guys/groups that way.
Why provide evidence for anything down the road weather for the legal system or anything analytical for the competition. Many states/counties scour the web for cars/plates ect. involved with street racing.

Rumor circulating there was no fire truck on the scene.
RIP racer From the picture I saw, it wouldn't have made much difference.

RIP racer It would have made no difference if there had been IMO. Unless it was parked directly next to the where the car eventually came to rest. Usually not one though..
