So my 17 year old niece has a 2003 Mitsubishi and it will not start or once in a while does start but all dash lights are on and then it stalls., For some reason I can't pull codes with a reader but the funny part is it will start and no dash lights on as long as the reader is plugged in? Whats up with that? Leave the reader plugged in and drive it

Dcuda69 master Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 4,941 WI	Ground issue? Code reader is making ground when plugged in. Pin 4 and 5 on the DLC are usually sensor/chassis grounds

She's just 17 and already into this car more than should be so just getting rid of it is not in the cards at this time
