I "think" the part# is 2571069 but the numbers on the one original part I had were very worn.

best I remember its 71 and up ????

The number suggests it was first produced for '64 models but might still be used many years after that.

Heres a discussion on Dodge Charger about these plugs. I THOUGHT they were used to fill the non AC heater box stud holes when an AC heater box was used.

That’s what they are for. I’ve got a couple of ac b bodies at the shop. I’ll see what I can did up for you this morning at the shop.

I looked at my 67 over the weekend and it has a few of them it IS a factory air car .

BUT, they are NOT used to fill firewall holes for non air cars . Much to small for that and they not in the locations a non air box would mount


I will double ck this evening and see how many there are on it and locations and see if its also in both my 66's which are non air cars
