Had a highway noise/vibration on our 70 Charger the we found to be
from the Americn Wheels not having the correct I.D. for our car.

Had these on for years, but never noticed before, (luck)?
Just assembled again due to a pumpkin change.

Anyhow, is there a source for these adaptors to assure concentricity?

Thanks, Joe

Yes, you can find a variety of hub adapters if you search for them. You may not find exactly what you need, but there are dozens of little anodized adapter rings available for sale from various sources.

Thanks Andy, I did a search and found suppliers easily.

I'll need to get a pair of inside calipers because my 6" Mitutoyos won't fit inside the wheel.

Sometimes the old tools are indispensable.

Thanks again, Joe

here is a place to start.

https//us.hubcentric-rings.com/

i think e-bag and amazon also lists hubcentric rings as well.
i think all are listed in mm, so you may have to convert mm to inch measurement if you don't know what mm your hub od and wheel id are.
depending on the combination, you may have to get the closest ring available and trim the od or id, maybe even both, to get the proper fitment.

Thanks guys, I have the plastic ones coming, I'll have to massage them a bit to compensate
for the dress-up caps (which my son reminded me about), grrr

Those cast wheels usually center off of the lug nuts, not the inner wheel centers scope

Mag wheels that can accept ET style lug nuts are worth using. The lug nut shanks go into the wheel hole and holds it all equal the full 360, which is a good thing. Not a lot of companies drill them to this size anymore though.
