Listings show two possible sizes. Are there possibly two sizes, or only one? *I don't even know where my driveshaft is to measure anything. Make it easy on me.

Small in front, big out back. This is correct. They used two different sizes on the TA/AAR 7260 in front and 7290 in the rear

They used two different sizes on the TA/AAR 7260 in front and 7290 in the rear This may not be true , the AAR and T/A were built with whatever parts were on the line when they were assembled, some had consoles, some didn't, some had standard instrument clustes and some had the 150 MPH clusters and so on. Originally the T/A and AAR were suppose to have only 8 3/4 rear ends 3:91 posi in them, not so. Lots of misinformation out there about these cars the dealers had a hard time selling those cars when new, they weren't popular at all 1970 was the heyday of Hi Po muscle cars and 340 6 packs in a E body didn't qualify as one back then I've own one T/A for a lot of years and driven a lot of other people's AAR and T/A. they did run better than any 340 four barrel E body I drove including the 1971 Cuda and Challengers

Reason why I axed this, is because I was at a HUUUUUGE NAPA sales conference for N. America all last week in Vegas, & set up a couple booths down from us was the Spicer folks. We got into a pretty good discussion about U-Joints & I asked them if any of their stuff was still made in the USA. Turns out MOST of these U-joints ARE made in the USA, & I'm convinced they are probably the best you can buy. The solid ones - Spicer Life Series ones. I checked on Rock Auto & they have them - around $16.00/ea. For that kind of $$, why would you buy anything else?
So what are your opinions - is Spicer (Dana) the way to go? Who makes a better U-Joint? Let's hear opinions.
