I know if the weather is nice, it will bring in a lot of revenue to the track, but very sad to see no Mopar race. Everyone needs to voice there opinion, and flood Norwalks Facebook page, letting them know we need a Mopar event added to the calendar.

Norwalk wanted the Mopar race, will leave it at that.
It will be back next year, with the Bader’s running it themselves.
Don’t blame the track

It’s always one idiot that has to mess up a good thing for everyone else. Doesn’t surprise me one bit, after hearing the reason.

I remember when they did that at Topeka, think it was for Monster trucks ? Ruined the track, had to re-do it all

The promoter wore out his welcome with the track, I heard from a very reliable source. That is as nice as I can say it.
I have zero love for the guy, so it doesn’t bother me to say it at all.

He cancelled the 11.50 shootout I sponsored for a few years( my wife and I paid the entire purse, gave the promoter the entry fees) and he decided to get rid of the class and add a different one. None of which I have a problem with. What I did have a problem with is not even a courtesy phone call, EMail or anything to let us know.

Fair enough, i understand. up Thanks for your honesty.
There are new KOS or small tire Mopar races at a lot of different tracks now. Im interested in hitting a few of these races next year....as long as my "project" gets completed . Just wondering if Norwalk will have the "full" list of classes including KOS.
Thanks for any info you can pass on about this.

Can't imagine what it cost to lay that in and then clean it up. With diesel at almost 6 bucks.

Must be going to bring in a pile of money. Wouldn't want to be the one paying for that if it rains out.

If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

Supposedly the track intends to continue the Mopar event starting next year. Regards classes, anything else, I haven’t a clue .
And the main reason I posted what I did above is because I love the facility, the owners…and the ice cream..lol
I just didn’t/ don’t want anybody to think unfavorably of the track regards not having the Mopar event this year, it’s undeserved

They do that with the Chili bowl here. Truck in a whole dirt tracks worth of Dirt and race indoors for a few weeks. What is crazy about the chili bowl is that they warehouse the dirt and use the same dirt every year!

These track operators have to do what they have to do to bring in the bucks these days. It IS a business, first, and if it doesn't make money it won't be there. You are seeing a lot of operators doing out of the ordinary things to bring in money.
Now, I don't know what happened between the promotors of MM and Norwalk, I have some theories, but that is all they are, theories!

I hope this works out to be a successful as they want.
