Called them a bit back, as I broke one of their Hemi motor mounts, but it was my fault.

Just need the one piece out of the 4 - 2 per side - and he dug one up and mailed it to me, no charge! Even after telling him it was my fault, please let me pay for it.

That's customer service!

Nice to hear of a stand up business. Somehow it's not easy to point out the good ones, but very easy to complain about the bad ones.

I'd like to thank AndyF for being one of the good guys on here. Sent me a part I needed.

Schumacher is great to deal with. A few years back the bracket on their torque strap broke for the 2nd time on my dad's road runner. Instead of welding it again, I called them and they had a stronger revised version of that bracket. I offered to pay for it since I've had this thing for a long time, but they would hear none of that. Sent it to me for free. up

They went out of business but someone picked up the product line. Anyone know the name?

it is always great to hear about standup companies these days, as everyone knows how chaotic the world has become.
i had a similar experience yesterday, although not pertaining to auto parts.
a few weeks back, i stopped at an ACE hardware store in a neighboring town to purchase an extension type of spring to replace one that broke on a "hand squeezing" thing you use to strengthen your hand muscles/grip.
the replacement spring worked well, then the one end broke off. i didn't think my grip strength improved that much. laugh2
anyway, i was in the area and stopped for another spring. as there was two in the bin, i got both.
i told the cashier lady i needed these springs because my "hand squeezing" thing was turning me into Popeye, and i was growing big and strong !
without batting an eye, she said no problem, "i'll only charge you for one spring".
i told her i tossed the sales slip, and it's no big deal, because these springs were only $2.49 anyway.
she insisted on charging me for only one, however !
well, ok. up
i went to this ACE store only because i knew they had a larger hardware selection than the ACE store down the block from my house [and they have a large selection !], and i had a doctors/hospital appointment in that town anyway.
it's small things like this and others mentioned, that gives a guy a good feeling about his fellow man.
