I know a handful are getting raced and there are some being restored but I can't imagine there is really a market for these. Just a passion project for this glass company??

So, if the shop didn't do it out of pocket, they had their client pay for all the molds including materials or a big portion of them. Likely gave the client the first or second parts out of the molds, and can sell more parts for material and labor without having to recover initial tooling costs.
