The most common A06 is as a Scheduled Production Date, not an option group.

So where is the A06 on the fender tag?

My info says A06 Sports Group was 1969 only. A search of the 1969 Salesman's Pocket Guides found A06 offered only in Plymouth, not Dodge, and only for Barracuda, not Belvedere, nor Fury, nor Valiant.

For Barracuda, the A06 listing says, E for extra cost, $50.75, available for notchback, fastback, convertible, not available with Cuda packages. Included were 3 items, Sport Steering Wheel (also called wood grained), Custom Sill Molding, and Rallye Instrument Panel (Trip Odometer, 150-mph Speedometer, Simulated Wood-grain Instrument Panel).

The Rallye Instrument Panel by itself was A62 for $6.30. So most of the extra cost was for the steering wheel and sill molding.

AFAIK the same Rallye Instrument Panel for Barracuda/Cuda was available for Dodge Dart but is not mentioned as an option in the 1969 Dart Salesman's Pocket Guide, which may mean it automatically came with some of the 6 Dart models, maybe the GT Sport, GT, or 340 Swinger.

Yes that “Sports Group” was offered in 1968 Barracuda’s too. My 68 is coded for it and has it. In 1968, the custom sill molding is the rocker moldings with rear gills, spears, and argent paint under the spear.

I believe in 1969, custom sill moldings would be the flat stainless rocker moldings?

I think it was in 69 there was a shortage of plain old Valiant dash clusters, or some part of, and cars were shipped with the Barracuda clusters, last one I saw was here in Fla, an old woman had the car, probably the original owner

It takes gasoline to interest me.

That was March of 1968, you can read the TSB about it at https://www.hamtramck-historical.com/images/TSBs/1968/68-25-2.jpg
