Just wondering if anyone knows whether or not there was originally an attachment screw, down near the gas pedal, to hold the carpeted console side cover tight against the shifter hump? My console cover has one small original hole in it at the very bottom near the gas pedal, but I’m not sure if it was actually used. I’m working on a 70 Super Bee. If there was a screw there, was there a washer also? Thanks in advance for your help

My console never had a screw near the gas pedal.

Yes there is. The front bracket has a hole on the side and the plastic console also has a slot on the side. As far as what screw is correct I am not sure. It pretty much is hid in the carpet overlay. I just found a suitable trim screw and painted it black.
