A guy I know has a late build 67 Belvedere II with a 273 2v. A couple of years ago, I sold him a small edelbrock carb and a 4v intake. I have recently heard that the early 273s had their own specific 4v intake and that a later LA type intake wouldn't work.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

67 is the same as any LA engine, the 64-65 has the different head bolt angle...

My 65 273 has been sporting a Edelbrock Performer 4bbl intake for 20 years. The difference in the intake bolts is a slightly different angle and the 273 bolts are a smaller diameter. A slight run thru the holes with a 3/8" drill bit in the intake for the mounting bolts holes to slightly adjust the angle was all I needed to do.

I dry fit up will show you what you need to do, if anything.
