We used to call the roundy-pounder pits "park 'n fight". That reminds me of the good old days when they raced circle track at Santa Clara Fair Grounds in the 1980's for Srint, modified and the ever popular 'San Jose Mile' Events. We used to joke around about who was gonna get mad at Sargent/Smith/Bubba/Ricky/etc and the pit pounder party when the loser/winner came in and the group tussle would get to nearly 10 guys and a few chicks made racing the dirt even more entertaining.
