Great!! What diameter will I need for 650 horsepower? I drag race the car maybe 2 times a year…

You need to contact Doctordiff and he can set you up with a Strange Engineering shaft. Just fill out the form on his website and he will get you what you need at a good price.

What diameter will fit? A stock tunnel usually requires a small loop which means a small driveshaft.

Rpm dictates diameter, ask the manufacturer.

I'm still running a 3" steel shaft in my cuda. Something better would probably be a good idea, but it's taken a lot of abuse.

These guys make a great looking, performing product. I run one of their 4" aluminum Accu-bond 7075 driveshafts in my 1968.

Andy at Raven did mine in 4"...been good so far! They're local too. Another heads-up racer guy I know is using them as well at over 9000rpm.

70" is going to be a real treat, especially at high rpm. You might need a two piece setup.

I just installed a 72" aluminum driveshaft on my 2008 GMC 2500HD from these guys. They did say I need to keep it under 135 mph, though. tsk
