I need a new Group 24 battery.for my 1970 Challenger, and I want to make it look close to original without purchasing a new reproduction battery. What do you recommend?

The question may be who has one, not the best price. I am going to call Jim’s and hope I make out. Bought one from him two years ago without issue but have been hearing not easy to get in touch with recently.

Thanks. I just edited this because would like to get a regular battery and try to make it look stock.

For one car, I used a top cover I bought off Ebay (a YearOne part, I think).
I measured a few 24 batteries and a Duralast from AutoZone was a perfect fit.
Sides of the battery are plain & flat, and I removed the adhesive label.
The top cover is wider than stock wire battery holder, so that needs to be tweaked and the cover narrowed in 2 spots with a round file.
It won't fool the knowledgeable, but everyone else thinks it's a legit piece.

I bought the stick on battery caps they sell on ebay. I haven`t tried them out yet.

Here is mine with the yellow stick on cap.
Looks OK if you don't want to spend the $ for the real thing.

I just keep doing the lightweight racing battery inside my cases once a repro battery goes bad.
